30-something, Greek-something, undercover nerd, chef, and sartorially obsessed, currently living in Amsterdam. I started this blog as this has been a dream of mine for years, and I finally made it a reality:) I love helping people and want everyone to look their utmost best-that their inner beauty is reflected on the outside.

I was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut by Greek parents. Yes, they were “FOB-Fresh off the Boat”. My dad actually entered the US through Ellis Island. He was one of the last batches who came on a boat before people flew commercially. Do you hear the soundtrack of Voulgari from Nyfes playing in the background? ( My Greek-Something friends will get this one)

Strongly influenced by my dual nationality and my fashionista mother(Georgia-man, she is such a character) style was always such a big part of my life. I find constant inspiration and energy through people.

I am also obsessed with music, especially singing. I have the best singing coach, Kim Sutherland. She is based in Amsty and is Australian. Thank god for that! Native English Speaker! Follow me on Spotify to see what I am listening to. I am constantly looking at my feed to see what cool, new songs my friends are listening to.

I love to travel, work out, hang out with my friends, and give make overs and style overs! I also do lots of personal and career coaching, due to my background. I have been working in Human Resources for 14 years, and have been at Nike for 6 years.

Lastly, I am super into eating healthy(and eating in general…that is the reason why I workout). My personal hero and sister from another mister, Despina Giannopoulou, has taught me everything she knows(she is a natural doctor). Of course, I indulge on the weekends:)

Lots of love,
Mimi

  1. Love your voice – sounds like you are as interesting as your blog and leading a great life. Thanks so much for joining my fun – daily (unless sometimes when I’m traveling) photos of items from my own true vintage wardrobe. Hope you’ll really enjoy them as much as I do!
