Do Not Read This Unless You Have Umm…Cellulite… And Want To Get Rid Of It

Summer is on it’s way and I know I have been putting my time in the gym, religiously, since January. I stalk Jen Selter, I sweat like a mofo at least 3 hours per week training, cannot count the number of squats, lunges, push ups, russian twists, burpees(hate these with a passion), mountain climbers(hate those too)…you get the picture.

Firstly, I train for well being. It is important to me to be healthy and to feel strong. Secondly, I don’t want to have too much wiggle in my jell-o.

No matter how hard I train(diet does not exist in my vocab as I try to eat healthy during the week and indulge on the weekend), I still had…gulp….cellulite.

So I started on a mission to find something. I had done everything in the past-endermologie, cavitation, creams-you name it. But I never really saw the results I wanted…..until I met David Dijkstra at the Chill Out Spa

I stumbled upon David in my desperation to get bikini ready for my annual birthday trip to Mykonos. Scouring the net for any glimmer of hope, I read about the revolutionary massage-Body Sculpture- and all the great things it guarantees.

Let’s get one thing straight- the only reason women have cellulite and men don’t(bastards!) is because of the structure of muscle and fat in our bodies. As David explained to me, in men, the fat and muscle structure is like that of a tennis racket, with vertical and horizontal bands. In women…yup, you got it right- there is only layer of bands so the fat pokes through the muscle, creating cellulite.

The Body Sculpture treatment does just what is says-sculpts your body! The procedure is a hands on treatment to slim down the fat and fiber strands that cause skin dimpling. It also stimulates collagen production and tightens the skin.

The treatment session consists of two parts: the first to break down fiber strands and shrink fat tissue, and the second to stimulate lymphatic channels to drain toxins and destroyed fat(you will pee like crazy after). Treatment sessions take less than 30 minutes, and often 10 treatments are necessary to achieve noticeable results. I already lost 1 centimetre off my thighs in the first 3 sessions(I am on my 7th now and will get measured again next week(my own choice as it was that time of the month), but David promises a 70-90% reduction in cellulite and a loss of 1-2 dress sizes. Pretty remarkable, huh??

My personal experience is that I saw a noticeable difference after my 4th treatment. My most stubborn areas were a lot smoother. Even my BFF said ” OMG, you have no cellulite, except a small patch here-you should just suck that out”. Haha. great friend:) But as plastic surgery is not in the near future, I will continue going to David.

He is not only an excellent massage therapist, he is a wonderful person. We have had many a deep conversation on life, love, our personal missions in life- all while he is massaging my ummm…bum, thighs…..

I would like to say that I was debating on whether or not to write this post, as it is a bit of a difficult thing to discuss. But I pulled up my big girl britches and said to myself “Mimi, you started this blog to share great things and to help people feel and look great”.

So as a special gift to you, my friends and travel companions on this crazy journey, David will offer you your first session of Body Sculpture absolutely free!!! Just mention my name….and I am sure you will be hooked after your first session!!

I know I am going to definitely feel more confident in my bikini this summer and I hope you will too!

If you have any other tips, please share!! Sharing is caring!

Lots of love,
Mimi
